Genesis Anti Hair-Fall Shampoo for Normal to Oily Hair

I have been using this shampoo for a few weeks and for the most part I really like it. It did not weigh down my thin, fine wavy hair--which is a definite plus. I did notice less breakage when brushing my hair after taking a shower. To me, the shampoo has a citrus-y smell to it (it's not the worst but it's not my favorite either). When using this shampoo without any styling products, my hair does seem to have increased frizz. Overall, I would recommend to anyone who deals with hair breakage while brushing wet hair.

Smells great. But, I had a lot of hair fall out using this. It felt like a clarifying shampoo, which was just too much for daily use for my very fine and thin hair.

First thing that got my attention was how good this products smells. Great lather and rinses out nicely. Left my hair feeling clean. After several uses I noticed less hair loss in the shower. Hair was softer, less knotty, and dried/styled nicely.

I’ve been using the Kerastase Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo and Conditioner for a few weeks now, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. What’s even more impressive is how I can see a significant reduction in hair loss since I started using this duo. My hair feels stronger, and I’m losing far less hair in the shower and when brushing. I used the product 4-5 times over about a month. The smell is subtle and not overpowering. I found that it foamed up nicely and cleaned my hair well. I have fine curly hair and it didn't weigh it down - my hair did seem to be more hydrated and bouncier after use. I also noticed less fallout and breakage between washes, although this could be due to any number of reasons. The price is definitely a concern, and I'm not sure that I would repurchase.

A great addition to my routine!

I love how it layers so well—a little goes a long way. It leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean after the first wash, making double cleansing feel extra effective. It doesn’t strip away my natural oils, which is a huge plus, leaving my hair soft and healthy. My hair feels soft, smooth, and thoroughly cleansed, and it adds shine and reduces frizz during my blowout routine. The only downside for me is the strong synthetic fragrance, which I’m not a big fan of. But everything else about this shampoo has been great. I haven’t used it long enough to notice major changes yet, but so far, so good!

Had high hopes

First impression was good, it smells nice. Cleanses and rinses out well. Then I noticed after using this shampoo and the paired conditioner that more of my hair was coming out than normal. I am not sure if my scalp disagrees with this shampoo or what. I feel like maybe if I kept using it that it would adjust but I am scared to do that because my hair is already so thin and fragile to begin with.

I haven't used long enough to see a change. The smell is amazing, but the price is outrageous. Will not purchase.

This shampoo and conditioner combo has been working really well for me. My hair was weakened postpartum, 3 times in a row and I died my hair in and out of that as well, so I really needed to strengthen my hair!! It also smells great and leaves a brilliant shine!
