Chroma Absolu Hydrating Protective Shampoo

Worth it!

I've been using the kerastase Chroma Absolu Bain Chroma Respect Shampoo and conditioner for like a month almost two now. It’s an amazing shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels clean and it looks healthier every time I use it. It leaves my hair shiny and smelling amazing for days. It really is the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve used, I’ll definitely be repurchasing when Im out.

Can’t stand the smell

I received a bottle of Chroma Absolu Bain Chroma Respect Shampoo in exchange for my honest review. I have fine, straight, color treated blonde hair. I am usually very particular with my shampoo and conditioner due to having oily roots, which causes my hair to get weighed down or look greasy very quickly with the wrong products. Typically when a shampoo says hydrating I worry about it causing this kind of issue. This shampoo though seemed to work well and I didn’t feel like it caused my hair to get overly greasy or flat. However, I absolutely could not stand the scent of this product. I’m not sure how people can say the scent is light and refreshing. The floral smell of this shampoo is SO STRONG. It gave me a headache most of the day the few times I tried it and it didn’t help that the smell lingered in my hair. This may be a positive for some people, but for me it was not. If there was a way to get this unscented or in a different scent I would be able to give more stars as I do feel like it made my hair soft and healthy the few times I used it. Unfortunately I will probably have to give this away due to how much the scent bothered my allergies.

Love this product!

This product is AMAZING. Smells wonderful and I can see a noticeable difference in my hair.

Smells nice, but takes a lot to clean my hair. I have very fine hair, usually need a dime/quarter size of shampoo per use. I wash 2 times a week. This stuff takes a huge squeeze to even cover my hair. Even without the suds, I can’t stretch it and used it way too quickly for the price. The end result wasn’t much different than other products I’ve used, so not worth the price.

Great for color-treated hair

I was given a sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. This product works well for color-treated hair. I dye my hair red and noticed that my color stayed vibrant for a longer period of time. I enjoyed the smell. It definitely reminded me of a salon quality product. If you are sensitive to fragrance, I would avoid this product. The packaging is beautiful. I would avoid this product if you have fine hair. It can definitely give you hair a heavier feeling

A must have in my routine!

After using this product after a few weeks my started to seem healthier and shinier and brighter

Very Hydrating

I’ve used this product for a couple weeks and I’m impressed. It smells lovely and has a very unique scent. I’ve noticed my hair overall looks so healthy and shiny! I’ve gotten so many compliments from people asking if I got my hair trimmed because it looks so much healthier. My color hasn’t faded. I need to cover my grey soon, so we will see how it does on freshly colored hair. I’m very happy with this shampoo!

A must try for hydration

I took my time to really try this product before writing a review. I will say as a natural dark haired and dyed girl this product has helped a lot with the dryness of my hair. The smell reminds me of Miami, very fresh and last long. I like how with a small pea size amount creates enough product for your hair (I have mid long hair) . On the other side, talking about color , I’m not sure if it’s normal but last time I did my hair I went back to brunette in a caramel tone however I feel that with time the blonde highlights are coming out again, not sure if the shampoo helped or not in this sense.

I tested this product for about a month after being sent in exchange for a review! At first, I didn't see it doing much for me, but after a couple of weeks I noticed a huge change in my hair. It didn't fall out like it would with other products. My hair feels so shiny, healthy, and clean (but not dry/squeaky clean).

I have previously used Kerastase and was a fan of the brand. With that said, it can be difficult to find at times. Needless to say I very excited to be given the opportunity to try the new Chroma line. I want to start by saying that if I refer to this as princess shampoo - blame my daughter. We both loved this product and joked that this was what princess used as the smell was divine and lasted for a solid day. This was a great mom tool as I now found a wayt o wash her hair without fighting. Moving on. I have naturally blonde hair that is think , slightly dry, and uses lightner. This shampoo I felt addressed each concern very well. Hydration is of course my biggeset concern as dry hair seems to contribute to a million issues, can lead to dandruff, which then leads to color deterioration from control shampoo. After using this product for several weeks I'm happy to say that my hair looks and feels fabulous (as does my own "little princess". I highly recommend this product!

Not a bad option to try

I used this for a few weeks to assess! Overall, I did like it. It smells good and does lather ok. My hair doesn't feel super clean after, but honestly, I'm not sure that it's supposed to haha. I think as a daily for fine hair in between a stronger shampoo it could work!

Great!

Warning: Strong "fancy salon" fragrance. However, it keeps my hair smelling nice for days! (Hair washed every 3-4 days). Hair looks and feels smooth and soft. Honestly feel as if I gained a little volume as well! Love it!
