Winter & Extremely Sensitive skin? This is for you

I have very very sensitive skin. Because of this, I am very cautious with the skin care I use. I have combination skin that breaks out very easily. This Lalo Triple Ceramide moisturizer does NOT break out my skin, reduces redness, makes my skin smooth & hydrated. The only reason that I gave it 4/5 stars was because I felt that it was not as moisturizing as I wanted it to be. My face feels like velvet the morning after use and my fine lines are gone, yet, it does not seem to scream "overly bouncy hydrated". I have purchased this multiple times (and will continue to do so!) since this product has quickly become my winter staple replacement for the Protini moisturizer. Also really great under water based foundations when in desperate need for a quick skin rejuvenation before makeup!

Did not work for me

The texture was fine for me. It feels kind of like a medium-weight hand cream. Immediately irritated my skin though and made my pimples more red and noticeable. Guess it works for some people, but to me it feels like a super expensive hand cream.

I can't go to bed without it!!

At least as far as I'm concerned, once you go Drunk Elephant, you never go back. I am infatuated with all things Drunk Elephant, and it all started with Lala Retro. I've been using Lala Retro as part of my nightly skincare routine for at least 2 years now, and my skin has never looked better.

Great! But not for younger skin

This product is great! Perfect creamy consistency! I recommend for ages teens+. but for a younger kid, I would recommend using a safer brand with less harsh chemicals for younger kids. There are 2 sizes for the drunk elephant Lala retro moisturizer. the smaller one is a screw on cap. and the bigger one is a built-in pump that pumps out a flower looking shape of the moisturizer. This moisturizer is on the more expensive end also. Hope this helps!

It’s a decent product. After using the moisturizer, my skin felt soft to some extent. My only issue is the price . I’ve tried better moisturizers that are half this price.

Dry skin sensitive girly here!

This moisturizer is actually amazing. Ever since getting it, I’ve been using morning and night. It pairs so nicely with a few drops of their marula facial oil. It also goes so nicely under makeup with no pilling. I have dry sensitive skin and often get peeling around my nose and sometimes my chin, and this has been so moisturizing. Not sure why people hate on Drunk Elephant, it’s clean, cruelty free, effective, and formulated without all of the bad stuff!! Also I was debating on getting this or their new bora barrier, that one felt really greasy on my hand while trying. I really suggest this one if you’re debating!!
