Beautiful matte, creamy texture, zero transfer!

My new favorite lipstick! I worse NARS matte lipstick in Heat Wave for 12+ years, before getting a mini of the Powermatte Lipstick in Dragon Girl. I loved the regular lipstick, but pretty much stopped wearing it, because it kept rubbing off on my daughter's face when I kissed her. I tried all kinds of lip stains, in an effort to find something that wouldn't transfer, but it just wasn't the same. I missed my bold, red lip! Enter, Powermatte. Not only is it a creamy matte that lasts forever, it also doesn't transfer onto my daughter's face, no matter how many times I kiss her. It's the best. Can't wait to try it in the Feel My Fire color and reclaim the orangey red lipstick look I have worn for more than a decade.

Formulation

Dragon Girl is a beautiful shade of red, but this formulation just doesn't compare to Audacious. Color payoff is just so so, and it doesn't feel very good on my lips. Been a Nars girl for 15 years, but I'm spoiled by Audacious and won't be satisfied until they bring back that line of lipsticks.

Luring customers to buy more product,

They have this “free gift-a blush and a liner” if you buy two products from Nars. I wanted just the one but got two to avail this offer and the customer care says “it is subject to availability” but that is only on samples and not on free gifts. Nowhere on the free gift page where it says buy two products does it say subject to availability. This is Sephora liring customers to buy more and not giving what was promised

Beautiful warm brown color

I bought this in NO ANGEL. It's a warm brown brown, a little bit of peachy that makes it so beautiful. It applies smoothly and leaves a velvet matte effect, but in a very hydrating matte. It is very natural, unlike other matte lipsticks that make your lips dry and wrinkles. The design is very neat. I love the slim look as I can put it in any purse carrying it with me anytime. However, despite of its beautiful color, I find it not lasting very long on my lips. I need to keep reapplying it every couple hours.
